Raven is the daughter of Moo & Freddie. Her litter's theme was Harry Potter and as the only girl in the litter, she certainly was The Chosen One. When deciding on her call name, Raven was suggested by one of her brother's owners, who very rightly pointed out that Border Collie's are so smart, they have to be in Ravensclaw! Her half sister Chevy is her best friend but she reminds me so much of her mother Moo, who loved being inside and close by during the day, but after dinner likes to be outside until bedtime. She was shown as a puppy and we attended the Border Collie Nationals in Brisbane in September 2024 where she came 2nd in the Baby Puppy Bitch Class in a line up of 7 stunning young bitches. She also received a lovely critique from the judge, Mr Ron Juckes "5.5 month old girl. Attractive head showing good development, lovely dark eyes, with well-set ears. Well constructed front with true feet. Fore and rear correctly angulated. Topline still rising, will drop with age and development. Ample length of tail, well set and carried low. Movement still a little loose, but ample reach and drive for age".  Since then I have only shown her briefly, but now that she has matured we are looking forward to giving it another crack and hopefully finally find our rythmn. At this stage I have plans for Raven to have her first litter in the first half of 2026.
